KW Goalkeeper Academy is run by owner and pro goalkeeper, Keiren Westwood. Keiren has been a goalkeeper for over 20 years. Keiren has amassed a wealth of knowledge, connections and experience as well as a huge passion for all things goalkeeping.
The aim of KW Goalkeeper Academy is to equip emerging young goalkeepers with better techniques and a deeper understanding of the game so that they can reach their full potential.
Training sessions will begin in September 2024 at Cheadle Town Football Club.

After a long and successful career as a goalkeeper I have now decided to open my own goalkeeper academy to support the upcoming talent in this industry.
Drawing on both my professional experience and the training I have received from the top keeper coaches in my career I will provide you with specialist goalkeeper coaching for all aspects of goalkeeping from the fundamentals, such as the correct hand shape, the correct ball handling methods, positioning in the goal relative to the ball position, different methods of distribution and making the correct match day decisions.
As your goalkeeper coach, I will always be available to you or your parents to talk about how you are progressing and things to work on in your own time.
